1-star review for JZ Oil (1037 W Ball Rd, Anaheim, CA – basically across from Disneyland) Picture this: You’re rolling up to Disneyland, Minnie Mouse ears on the dashboard, kids hyped in the back, and suddenly your tire’s hissing like it’s auditioning for a horror movie. Nail in the tire, classic Anaheim souvenir. So you pull into JZ Oil for gas and a quick air top-up. How hard could it be? The gas pumps move slower than a parade float in rush hour traffic. Ten minutes to pump what felt like six gallons. I’m pretty sure I aged a year waiting. Fine, whatever, at least the air should be quick. Wrong. I go inside, politely ask for air. The attendant hits me with “It’s not free, you have to pay.” I gently remind her California law says stations must provide free air to fuel customers (it’s literally on a sign they should have posted). She doubles down like she’s guarding the last churro at the park. Then the fun really starts: She demands to know exactly where I pumped and how many gallons. I shrug, about six? She prints a receipt with a 10-digit code longer than my patience. I trot back out, punch it in… nothing. Doesn’t work. Back inside. Another employee says, “Oh, you have to call the number and tell them how much you pumped.” Cue a five-minute phone call from hell: hold music, hang-ups, the works, all for what should be a two-second “here’s your air” moment. Finally, the compressor wheezes to life like it’s as annoyed as I am. Folks, if you’re heading to the Happiest Place on Earth, don’t let this gas station turn your day into the Grumpiest Place on Ball Road. Slow pumps, staff treating free air like it’s liquid gold, and a process more complicated than assembling IKEA furniture in a parking lot. Skip JZ Oil, your sanity (and your tires) deserve better. There are plenty of stations nearby that won’t make you jump through flaming hoops for basic service. 0/10, would not recommend unless you enjoy bureaucratic tire inflation adventures. 😤

Great spot to meet before going into Disney. They should rename it to “The Meeting Spot” because Jay-Z and Beyoncé aren’t ever around… overall very friendly staff and very clean. They have lots of gear, snacks, and Minnie ears for $13.

TERRIBLE service. I made a purchase here (I have the receipt) and was still denied access to the restroom with no valid reason. Completely unacceptable treatment of paying customers. This place lacks basic customer service and professionalism. I will not be coming back and do not recommend it at all.

Every person working the register either hates human interaction or thinks saying hello or thank you will light them on fire. I've only interactrd with one guy who has been nice. The rest of the staff needs to work on customer service. The station itself is fine, usually clean, gas is usually a good price.

This happened today after lunch I have never encountered such ugly treatment I wanted to go to the toilet, but they did not let me in Did I really have to go to the toilet right before their gas station outside on the street?!!! This should be punished by both the law and human rules
