Additionally, this is not an isolated incident. On previous visits, the customer service has been consistently poor, with noticeable disrespectful behavior toward certain customers, particularly around the lottery area, where staff have shown dismissive and unprofessional attitudes. If the owners are unaware, they should know that the current staff is seriously damaging the reputation of this business. This type of conduct not only drives customers away but could also lead to formal complaints with corporate offices or regulatory authorities, if applicable. A business that claims to be open must act accordingly. This location clearly fails to meet that basic standard.

Tonight while walking home right at 10:43pm I took a visit to this store just to go to the bathroom and purchase something from this store. Once I went all the way into the store,the guy from the front counter came all the way from behind the counter just to tell me that the store was closed and I could not use the bathroom because the last time,as he stated I took too long using the bathroom and I have a physical disability. I advised him that the last time I came into the store,I purchased items as i still have the receipt and did not use the bathroom. He assumed that I was someone else and told me to leave immediately but as i left other customers came in and the door was not locked at all. All I had to do was use the bathroom and I felt like I was hated because of my skin color, because of my disability and idk maybe I had too much clothes on. No stars for me.

Double charged me for a protein bar and when I brought it up he promised he didn’t double charge me. Made the mistake of checking my receipt once I had left. Skeevy scammy guy

This is one terrific store. I expected a kind of a typical convenience store, but this store has all kinds of diverse and healthy products. It also has a great vibe. Mahmood, the proprietor, says he has run the store for 21 years and hails from Iran. He has a very easy and welcoming manner with his customers and is a wonderful host. The store is set in the really fascinating Irish Channel neighborhood of New Orleans. Closer to the river, it is all seawall and wharves and warehouses (with, also, a couple of fascinating discount furniture or household warehouses with fabulous murals) - but just a little farther away from the water, on Magazine Street, it is funky cafés and a Starbucks. I recommend the store very highly.

I’m giving them 5 stars because the employees are nice, they have a great selection of items, they’ve made more space for the isles, they have a microwave to heat cold food sold there.
