The food store use to be good, but it has gone down hill ever since the kid left after finishing his PhD. Tried it again a few weeks ago and the sandwich was 1/2 the meat from before, another place not to go again

This little gas station and convenience store is a real gem in the middle of the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans. Lots of convenience stores in New Orleans sell fried chicken, but this store celebrates the fact that it is owned by Middle Eastern folks - with a genuine Middle Eastern restaurant in the convenience store. They specialize in Chicken Shawarma. Zak at the cash register was a wonderful host. Don’t miss it!

Does not stay open till 11pm, they close at 8 Monday -Friday Night cashier ( young male ) rude and mean. I really don't like him I believe he over charges me, when I purchase with other cashier's my orders don't equal what he charges u get the same things and I noticed the difference

The food is okay, but the customer service and cleanness of the place could be better. It's inside a gas station so maybe I am requesting too much. We used to like this place and will travel miles to visit. But, the words we heard today from a staff member and a customer was a huge turn off.

Closed at 9:00pm on a Saturday. Cool.
