I have never experienced treatment as unprofessional and offensive as I did at this Amoco location. I walked in, picked up a soda, and set it on the counter while I went to get my husband. Instead of simply asking a question or showing basic courtesy, the clerk immediately accused me of stealing. Let that sink in—no attempt to clarify, no professionalism, just a baseless accusation. It didn’t stop there. The situation escalated into outright discrimination, with the clerk making an offensive, inappropriate remark toward me. That kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, especially in a customer-facing business. This is not just bad service—it’s disrespectful, hostile, and completely out of line. No customer should be treated like a criminal for simply walking through a store, and no one should ever be subjected to discriminatory language. Due to the severity of this incident, a lawsuit is being filed. Businesses must be held accountable when they cross the line from poor service into discrimination and defamation. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge others to think twice before supporting a business that allows this kind of conduct.

The gentle man working tonight (6pm Feb 1, 2026) was amazing! Coming from out of town visiting and he was extremely kind and helpful. Hopefully he gets a raise! Thank you!

I love this store customer service is A1 because I express a drink to the owner and he got it the next day and their food is amazing.

Great to see the red white and blue Amoco gas stations! This one happens to have the cheapest quality fuel in the Kansas City metro area. Friendly service, clean restrooms and easy access!
