The savings on gasoline alone justify my annual membership. To top it off, Costco gas is one of the top two or three gasolines in terms of eliminating carbon buildup and deposits in the fuel system.

Best Price, But Be Prepared to Wait ★★★★☆ You absolutely cannot beat the price of Costco gas. It is consistently the cheapest fuel in town, often by a significant margin, and those savings add up quickly over the course of a year. I also appreciate that it's Top Tier gasoline, so you know you're getting high-quality fuel for your car. The station is well-designed with extra-long hoses that reach either side of your vehicle, which helps the lines move as efficiently as possible. The one and only reason this isn't a five-star review is the wait time. You have to be strategic about when you go, because there is almost always a line. During peak hours or on the weekend, you can easily find yourself waiting 15 minutes or more just to get to a pump. You are essentially trading your time for the lower price. Overall, if you have the patience or can fill up during off-peak hours (like a weekday morning), the value is undeniable. The savings are real, you just have to budget the extra time for it.
