The security guard at the Tom Thumb Express (gas station across the street) started following me around the moment I walked into the store. A few minutes later he accused me of having products in my backpack then reached out to touch my backpack as I was still wearing it. Of course I immediately reported him to the manager at the grocery store. Imagine my surprise to see the same guard there two weeks later. This time shouting at me to get out, he was calling the police, and telling the 2 cashiers not to sell anything to me. I am adding a snippet of the video I took the day the guard first harassed me. It's sad management thinks this is ok. I won't be shopping here anymore and no one should since these big companies all presume we are thieves whenever we step foot inside their stores.

I recently visited this convenience store and had a great experience. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find everything I needed. They had a wide variety of snacks, beverages, and everyday essentials, all neatly stocked. I was also impressed with how clean and tidy the store was, making it a pleasant place to shop. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Prices were reasonable, and I found some great deals while browsing. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack or something more, this store has you covered. I’ll definitely be back next time!

Decent gas station. Nice, clean modern. Why the low review? The air compressor. Got a leak on the rental car. The compressor is expensive - $2 and really doesn't work that well. Had to go to another gas station (Texaco) to fill the tire with air - another $2

There are about 2 or three staff members that are are always so welcoming and helpful, but on I need to mention is SHUN D!!! I am a female who often shops in the area, and most of the time feels safe, but one day encountered a male who had followed me into the parking lot with his car (I was on foot, and with some scratchers. If you’re a woman, you can relate to that intentional stare/follow and “inconspicuous” looking round. The first time I really had an experience with her, I had to (without making too much of a scene) notify through the microphone to Shun D, with absolute dependency, to watch the man (“behind me”) who had followed me in and was “rummaging” through sandwiches with a side eye. The ONE time I hadn’t been able to visually locate security, but she handled the situation wonderfully! She scoped for back up while engaging my fake conversation. She made a huge impact on me that night! I was so focused on watching my surroundings and making it home, I hadn’t the ability to remember the name she gave me when I left. THANK GOODNESS I came in on her shift tonight, and not only did she remember me, but my partner who had come in separately!!! Express has got a great one in her. Thankfully, I can’t say I would have had a life changing or life ending experience, though I am inclined to believe so, all because Shun D was there this time!! So glad I got the chance to be a customer of her again, and beyond that, she had full recollection of MULTIPLE angles of experiences my household has had 💕 Thank you Shun D!!!!! Seriously!

I recently relocated to Dallas from Idaho. I was SO happy when I walked into this Tom Thumb & instantly recognized it as being part of the Albertsons store brand. Joe & Kay Albertson began the Albertsons store in the city where I located from, so having this store a few feet from my new home in Dallas feels like having a piece of my former home right with me. Store is clean, staff is friendly, and prices are reasonable. I am THRILLED to shop here!
