I came in to use the restroom and to purchase a coffee and some Advil. I got my items then waited in line. The line never moved. Then it started getting bigger and bigger. Only one register was open. There had to be 5 employees behind the counter. One kept repeating, ‘I’m new, it’s my first day I’m new’. Poor girl I felt bad for her. The other register was trying to open but the girl took forever to count her register. I finally asked, ‘can I pay for this stuff’? Another employee told me to go to the register that the girl was counting her register out to start. So I waited and waited and waited. I had been in there at least 10 more minutes by now. So I had to get back to work and put my items down and said never mind. This place sucks and walked out. She was still counting her register when I left… I hope the manager of this maverik reads this. Both self service registers were both not working.

Clean neat spacious store very refreshing. Bathrooms available without bugging for code and clean. Parking lot is big easy to get in and out. Very nice truck stop great location well needed. I like the advanced merchants electronic system this store is using.

Just Opened! Stopped to refuel and get some food, was nicely surprised by the selection of hot and cold food & drinks. Very well stocked and laid out. Friendly welcoming staff and reasonable prices. Easy access to I80 a great place to stop and take a break from a trip.

The gas is not as high quality as Chevron or Shell, but this is conveniently located right off of the 50 freeway on your way to San Francisco. It is new having just opened several months ago. They are plenty of pumps for regular vehicles as well as a separate area for semi trucks and other larger vehicles. The gas prices are very competitive and tend to be lower than most other gas stations nearby. They also are clean and have a large snack cafe area with plenty of treats to choose from. You can also sign up for the Maverick app to get rewards and will get $0.02 off every gallon when you put your phone number in at the pump. First time you sign up, you get a free, soft drink as well. You earn points to get discounted items in their store

The managers and employees clearly don’t care about quality. There’s garbage all over outside. The countertops are constantly sticky and dirty. The bathrooms are filthy. And the prices aren’t even better than other convenience stores. I wonder if the headquarters know, or the regional managers know, that this place is full of employees who don’t care about quality. Or maybe the CEO and the district managers don’t care either.
