Surprisingly, I didn’t get eaten up by bedbugs. I did see cockroaches, both the humankind and the insect kind. The humankind was working the front desk and was trying to charge my card for the room and a deposit. I’d already prepaid for the room via Priceline so this shouldn’t be difficult. I notified him I’d only pay the $100 deposit as required and that was it. He finally relented but was grumbling and being rude. I got to my room and discovered the heater didn’t work…. I’d already unloaded my pack and taken a hot shower when I discovered this. I was too tired after 20 days riding the rails to ask for another room. I slept in a very chilly room in California thanks to this fine establishment. So, if you’re a true vagabond, give this place a go and see if you get decent treatment and a working heater…. Or maybe just pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.

I am sorry to have stayed here. The sheets smelled like dirty arm pit. It smelled like an animal layed in the bed and they didnt wash the sheets. The was a very strong room deoderizer perfume that got into my Pap machine and now it smells when i turn it on. I had to replace the filter and wash my hoses cause i could still smell the deoderizer. Inspite there was no carpet, they must of put it on the bed. I am very upset. I dont want you to have this experience. Dont stay here. And the TV. Did not work. They told me some one would come to check it and i called them 3 times and they continued to say we will send someone. No one came. No WiFi. I woild rather they tell me sorry the TV doesnt work, instead of an empty promise, i waited for a technitian to come. Waste of time. And money.

Terrible... Andy i mean TERRIBLE customer service. The front desk was on the phone with her friend's and when she finally got to me, she showed no friendliness and nothing but anger. I requested a room change do to it being a smoke room, but she said no, that she wasn't going to do that even if my asthma health was in danger. Not only that the rooms have mold in them And they all stink like smoke.

The facility is very worn out; everything is either old or improperly repaired. The bedding needs replacement; despite cleaning, the old stains remained. Sound isolation is poor; outside noise is overwhelming. There is a major highway intersection nearby, so traffic is constant and includes frequent honking and sirens. The location didn't feel safe: people were walking up and down the stairs and through the gallery throughout the night, and cars were cruising constantly while we were there, often with loud music. The breakfast is a joke: waffles, coffee, and cold milk with cornflakes. Note that Booking sells this hotel at an extremely overpriced rate. After the disappointment, I compared rates, and it appears Booking is charging twice as much as the hotel on its website. They denied the price match since "the meal plan is not specified on the site and we are unable to compare offers." At least it was clean, and at least we didn't notice any roaches. The personnel were nice.

The worst! She put my 2-year-old grandson and I way in the very back next to the highway. Neither one of us got ANY sleep AT ALL!! We would have been better off sleeping in the car.
