With gas prices rising and you care for an elderly person , every penny counts. On the way to HEB, I passed a couple gas stations and all 6 cents higher. Glad to see our hometown grocer keeping it a little lower, even though they don't have to. HEB has become such a part of my life, I couldn't imagine what it would be like without them. HEB forever...

With high gas prices, the old lady unbelievably won't accept $100 bills at all. I am sure after 12 noon, many people have given her $20 bills all morning. She was playing God with not accepting $100 bills. I was on empty. I had to go to the self checkout to buy some gum to accompany her stubborn attitude and give her two $20 bills to get gas. Note to management: this is not a $1, $5, $10 till here... It's more like a $20, $40, $60 dollar till. Adjust your registers.

I saw a puddle on the floor near the ice bag freezer today and went to get a paper towel to place it over it. The staff doesn't think it's a big deal when I address spills previously. But if someone slips and falls maybe they would be more intuitive/aware of safety. I guess they're asleep during the yearly OSHA training. (This is the olmos/San Pedro store)

Five minutes ago I came by to pump gas and a bald tall skinny man with a tan came and left a big trash bag full of trash and didn’t use the gas station but only to litter. I tried getting his license plate but his truck didn’t have any. Sad

H-E-B always has the best gas prices! I love how they have a gas station attendant. I can buy a drink and tobacco while I fill up!
